Democrats Will Never Abandon LGBTQ, No Matter What They Say

            It would not be a lie to say that we conservatives have largely won on the trans issue. After the incredible role it played in the 2024 election, electable Democrats, meaning Democrats who are seeking the presidency in 2028, such as Gavin Newsom and Alexandria Cortez have refused to offer up real answers on this topic not wanting to draw the ire of either their side or ours. In a recent interview with Ben Shapiro, Newsom said in response to his stance on whether boys can become girls, “by the grace of God.” What does that mean? Furthermore, when Shapiro pressed him on his law that prohibits school districts from disclosing information to parents if their child decides to be LGBTQ saying “shouldn’t parents have the moral ability to receive that information,” Newsom responded with “its about health and safety.”[1]

My point for writing this article is to convey the truth to you. Do not be deceived by the words of these self-proclaimed moderates. No matter what they say, the two will always be defenders of transgender ideology, and you can believe they would take no time to consider before putting pen to paper in favor of this issue if either of them ascended to the oval office.

Let us not forget Newsom’s and AOC’s previous statements and policies regarding this issue. Recently in an interview with Ezra Klein, Newsom said “I want to see trans kids”…. “No one has been a stronger advocate for the LGBTQ community than me.”[2] His past would prove this to be true. In 2020 he signed the SB 132 requiring California’s prisons to house transgender, gender nonconforming, and intersex inmates according to their gender identity along with AB 2218 which created the Transgender Wellness Equity Fund.[3] In 2023 he signed AB 223 which created the Transgender Youth Privacy Act mandating that courts seal minors’ petitions to change their gender or sex marker and he also signed AB 5 allowing for LGBTQ training in schools.[4] In 2019 he signed 47 pro LGBTQ bills into law. He made California a “sanctuary state” for children living out of state to come and receive “gender affirming care,” and he even created the Transgender Day of Remembrance and hoisted the trans flag over the capitol building. And that is just a quick summary of everything he did.

From Capitol Hill, AOC has also routinely made statements and upheld legislation defending transgender ideology as well as openly bashing the Trump Administration for the President’s policies to keep biological men out of women’s sports. In the very halls of Congress, AOC said “trans girls,” meaning biological men, “are girls,” and used the old “opens the door for genital checks” line of reasoning. She called Biden’s Title IX proposal “indefensible and embarrassing” even though it did not allow for a ban on trans athletes playing in other gender’s sports but only allowed for teams to “create limits to ensure fairness.”[5] Even just allowing the coaches to determine their lineups was too far to the right for AOC. Just over a year ago, she said, “when Democrats aren’t afraid to throw a damn punch, then we see that we can yield results.”[6] This was in response to the House passing a HR 28, a bill which would amend Biden’s Title IX order and would effectively ban transgenders playing in the other gender’s sports leagues. [7]

This is their religion, their god; they will not abandon their golden calf. Even though Newsom and AOC are trying to appear in the middle ground on the trans issue, do not be deceived. A vote for these two or any one with a (D) next to their name is a vote in favor of pro trans legislation. We must protect our Children, our Families, and our Faith.
