WNBA Transing the League

The WNBA once again proving why no one should ever take them seriously. Last week Fox News reported on an altercation between Enes Kanter Freedom and Natasha Cloud. I do not watch the WNBA like all of America, but apparently Cloud is a guard for the Chicago Sky. During a game against the Indiana Fever, Cloud began yelling at Kanter who was sitting courtside because of the incredibly vile and hateful shirt he wore that read “Woman – adult, human, female” written as the word would appear in a dictionary. Absolutely irreprehensible behavior, how could he wear a shirt which such hateful speech on it amid the public scandal that is biological men playing women’s sports. This comes after Kanter’s continued outspokenness against the NBA and WNBAs’ insistence on letting transgender men play in the WNBA. Kanter is a former NBA player who announced he was entering the 2027 WNBA draft a few weeks ago by claiming he was transgender and that he identifies as a woman. The WNBA has a long history of extremely liberal politics even more so than the other sports leagues such as the MLB and the NFL, and even more evidence for such an assertion hit the headlines again once transgender athlete Julie Tetart declared for the 2027 draft. Opposition to the policies have seen more and more spotlight with players such as Sophie Cunningham speaking out on various podcasts and former NBA players such as Kanter publicly declaring for the draft. Kanter has been an outspoken critic and reported to enter the draft only to prove the falseness of the claim that transmen are indeed women. The WNBA, in all its liberal brilliance, responds with expelling Kanter from the arena after the altercation started by Cloud. Furthermore, they openly refuse to allow Kanter to declare for the draft while still allowing Tetart claiming Kanter is “only doing this for a publicity stunt.”

              The league has openly proven its lack of respect for female athletes time and time again and these actions only provide further evidence to such a claim. The idea that people can change their gender is absurd itself, but more importantly it will put females in actual harm on the court. Allowing biological men to enter into the league will only result in less opportunities for and more injuries to women as the men will dominate in rebounds, drives, and shots. The owners, managers, and coaches need to rethink their stance on such a ludicrous and terrible ideology, and once again dedicate themselves to safeguarding for women a league they can compete in.  The fact that Kanter is kicked out of an arena due to a shouting match that was started by one of the players, that Sophie Cunningham can receive such backlash after merely stating the danger biological men in the WNBA poses, or that women can blatantly attack Caitlin Clark and receive no punishment is all evidence of the WNBA fierce loyalty to race and gender ideology. It must stop now.
